January 12, 2010, Monthly Board Meeting
January 12, 2010
The monthly Town Board meeting was called to order on Tuesday, January, 12, 2010 at 7 p.m. by Chairman Tim Fletcher. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
Present were Tim Fletcher, Bob Young, Dale Braunschweig, David Otto, Vicki Baum, Paul Budzinski, Ron Woock, Lavern Pieper, Jeff Schwartz, Jena Schwartz, Ray Butterbrodt, Charles Grebel, Randy Schwark, Phil Apfelbeck, Mike Matoushek, and Debra Waldvogel.
The minutes of the December meeting were read by the Clerk. A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to accept the minutes as read. Motion carried.
Chairman Fletcher read the meeting notice.
Paul Budzinski from Northeast Asphalt gave their annual report. He said there was a Quarry Committee meeting on December 15 at the plant. He said that they built a new road around the pit, and they crushed twice last year. He said that the ditch cleaning project is now finished.
Jeff Schwartz spoke about his problems with a neighbor concerning his kennel. The Town Board told Jeff they would support him.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to accept the Treasurer’s report. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to pay all bills as presented. Ck # 23120 through Ck # 23158 for a total of $458,533.11. Motion carried.
Supervisors Young and Braunschweig examined the cancelled checks and compared them to the December bank statement.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to adjourn at 8:50 p.m. Motion carried.
