October 13, 2009
The monthly Town Board meeting was called to order on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at 7 p.m. by Chairman Tim Fletcher.
Present were Tim Fletcher, Bob Young, Dale Braunschweig, Kenneth Woock, Ron Woock, Donna Weigel, Vicki Baum, David Otto, Mike Matoushek, Bob Peterson, Lavern Pieper, Dennis Braun, Steve Schmidt, Marilyn Rieman, Randy Schwark, Leo Merkes, Jan Seering, Merlin Pieper, Barb Hansen, Larry Wagner, and Debra Waldvogel.
The minutes of the September meeting were read by the Clerk. A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to accept the minutes as read. Motion carried.
Chairman Fletcher read the meeting notice.
Marilyn Rieman from the Fire Department Auxiliary asked if the rental could be $25 for everyone. A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to set shelter rental at $25 per day for everyone. Motion carried.
Larry Wagner from the ATV Club asked about a temporary ATV route from the Wild Goose State Trail to Chances Bar & Grill which would be used only when the ATV routes are open. A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to approve the ATV route from the Wild Goose Trail to Chances with signage provided by the ATV Club and after the Club gets DNR approval in writing. Motion carried.
The No Parking Ordinance for Seering Road was introduced. It will be adopted at the next monthly meeting.
Golf cart use on Town streets was discussed, and the Board will get a copy of Iron Ridge’s ordinance.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to approve the 2010 Humane Society contract for dogs only. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to approve the Treasurer’s report. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to pay all bills as presented. Ck# 23041 through Ck # 23059 for a total of $16,943.01. Motion carried.
Supervisors Young and Braunschweig examined the cancelled checks and compared them to the September bank statement.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to adjourn at 10:05 p.m.
