February 9, 2010
The Monthly Town Board meeting was called to order on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at 7 p.m. by Chairman Tim Fletcher. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
Present were Tim Fletcher, Bob Young, Dale Braunschweig, Ray Butterbrodt, Donna Weigel, Marilyn Rieman, Kenneth Nitschke, Harold Nitschke, Lavern Pieper, Philip Waldvogel, Rob Brooks, Ron Woock, Randy Schwark, Gerda Braunschweig, Vicki Baum, David Otto, and Debra Waldvogel.
The minutes of the January meeting were read by the Clerk. A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to accept the minutes as read. Motion carried.
Chairman Fletcher read the meeting notice.
Rob Brooks from Brooks Ambulance Service of Waupun told the Board about his company that has been in business since 1979. He said they have five staffed ambulances—three in-house and two on-call. If the Town of Burnett would hire them to take its ambulance calls, they do their own billing and will not charge the Town for any uncollected accounts.
A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to accept the Treasurer’s report. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to pay all bills as presented Ck# 23159 through Ck# 23193 for a total of $338,349.90. Motion carried.
Supervisors Young and Braunschweig examined the cancelled checks and compared them to the January bank statement.
Philip Waldvogel and Ray Butterbrodt gave a Zoning Update Committee report. They are waiting for some information from Dean Perlick and then will have to meet one or two more times before they will present the updates for adoption.
A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to adjourn at 9:08 p.m. Motion carried.
