June 8, 2010, Monthly Meeting
June 8, 2010
The monthly Town Board meeting was called to order on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 7 p.m. by Supervisor Bob Young. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
Present were Bob Young, Dale Braunschweig, Ron Woock, Ken Woock, Vicki Baum, David Otto, Ray Butterbrodt, Bob Peterson, Merlin Pieper, Lavern Pieper, Phil Apfelbeck, and Debra Waldvogel. Chairman Tim Fletcher was absent.
The minutes of the May meeting were read by the Clerk. A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to accept the minutes as read. Motion carried.
Supervisor Young read the meeting notice.
First on the agenda was the Liquor License Applications Hearing.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to grant Class B Combination Liquor licenses to Winnie Henkel, Dennis Giese, Chris Merkes, and the Horicon Rod & Gun Club. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to grant a Class B Beer license to Dennis Giese for Spring Brook Farm. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to grant bartender licenses to Dennis Giese, Karen Tomko, Leo Merkes, Chris Merkes, Tammy Rohloff, Bob Young, Jr., Tony Soblewski, Karen Schroeder, Gerald Hartwig, Brian Heintz, Heather Luedtke, David Vinz, Heather Buhalog, Renee Peterson, Lori Bauer, and Andrew Bauer. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to grant a temporary license to the Burnett Fire Department for July 5 – 11, 2010. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to accept the Treasurer’s report. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Braunschweig and seconded by Young to pay all bills as presented. Ck # 23279 through Ck # 23296 for a total of $10,537.24. Motion carried.
Supervisors Young and Braunschweig examined the cancelled checks and compared them to the May bank statement.
A motion was made by Young and seconded by Braunschweig to adjourn at 7:55 p.m. Motion carried.
